Solution

SESTO Medibot system pairs a delivery AMR with secured compartments to pick up and drop off POP stations in the pharmacy and nursing stations. This solution automates a pick-deliver-drop workflow, removing waiting time at the ward drop-off points. Nurses at the wards retrieve medication at the drop-off POP station using secured access via their staff cards when they are available instead of stopping patient care to attend to porters if it’s a manual delivery system.

  • Operational efficiency: The AMRs deliver medication from the centralized pharmacy to multiple nursing stations. Wait time for nurses to collect medication is eliminated because delivery is dropped off autonomously at secured POP stations, allowing nurses to collect it when available.
